How to be Obsessed with Each Advance of the Russo-Ukrainian War
Like many, I was glued to the TV in February 2022 when Ukraine miraculously repelled Russia’s race to Kiev, but the front lines have largely remained unchanged since April 2022. In the Fall, Ukraine excitingly took back some territory in Kherson and Kharkiv, but otherwise it’s been a grueling WWI stalemate.
Behold, the Free World comes to the rescue!
The U.S., E.U., and over 40 other freedom-loving countries donate a total of $150 billion in financial and military aid to support Ukraine in its fight for freedom. Tens of thousands of Ukrainian troops are pulled off the front lines for weeks-long to months-long training all across the world with NATO instructors on how to incorporate advanced assault tactics in combined arms warfare with state-of-the-art military equipment. All the while, Putin has been kidnapping people off the streets of Moscow to force into suicide missions trying to overcome Ukrainian defenses.
In May of 2023, these new troops return to Ukraine to find that their brothers and sisters in arms have held the line, and now it’s time for these fresh troops with their fancy training and expensive toys to tell Putin that the Arsenal of Democracy and the Ukranian Spirit will defeat his evil crusade. Stay tuned to see if the good guys beat back the bad guys!
